There will also be an additional race prior to the half marathon suitable for young runners.


If sport is not your cup of tea then try the Gwyn Owen River Festival starting on the 4th of October and ending on the 6th. This wonderful local event includes art, photography, films, music and poetry. There will also be performing choirs, dancing; plenty of delicious food and you can even attend in fancy dress. The 12th of October will bring a brand new producers market to Bala features cakes, sponges, homemade fudge and pies, locally produced goat’s cheese from Pwllheli, honey from Arthog, free range pork and even locally made cards. It is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in local Welsh culture during your holiday.
