If you are staying in holiday parks North Wales this winter then mid-Wales is the place to go. Despite the cold there is a whole host of Christmas events on the way and then some great events in the New Year to make us look forward to 2014!
January can be a time that many of us feel low with Christmas behind us and a good few months to go until the joys of Easter and spring but holiday parks North Wales have so many events to offer and many more events close by that you will be kept entertained  no matter when your holiday takes place.

If you are in holiday parks on Anglesey over the Christmas period then head to one of the best restaurants on the island: The Tavern on the Bay for a warm and welcoming Christmas!

From Christmas Day onwards you can tuck into Christmas dinner at the Tavern until the 29th of December. There are great offers on either a two course or three course sumptuous Christmas feast.

After Christmas is behind us and 2014 is just around the corner the Tavern will host a wonderful New Year’s Eve party to keep you feeling merry. On the 31st of December there will be a six piece jazz band, sparkling wine and canapés to help everyone welcome the New Year.

That is not the end of the fun as there are many events taking place throughout Anglesey this December and January.

Tomorrow is the last day for guests at holiday parks North Wales to visit the winter fair for Kyffin Williams art in Llangefni. It is free to join the Island Art Group on Anglesey which has been meeting frequently over the Christmas period. They have been growing strong for many years and offer workshops and painting holidays to be enjoyed and this December a beautiful exhibition is on offer in Millbank Holyhead. It opened on the 30th of November and there are chances to see it until the 12th of January 2014.

If you are feeling a little stuffed and unhealthy after all the over indulgence of Christmas then a Boxing Day guided walk might be the right medicine. For £7 from 11:30am-1pm you can enjoy a guided stroll around South Stack Reserve. To reward yourself for the gentle exercise there is a music night featuring Yuletide themes, festive funk and rhythm and blues in Menai Bridge for £8 from 8pm.

It is all about health and sport in January to fight the guilt of so much eating at Christmas. A New Year guided walk is on offer in South stack and on the 18th of January the EnduranceLife Anglesey Marathon takes place!  Do not miss out on all the fun in Anglesey this season.
