Christmas Craft Fair nr West Point

A region that constantly boasts superb homemade crafts and wares is set to come with an extra special Christmassy feeling this November and December when you stay at West Point resort.

Located just a short drive away in the beautiful town of Pwlheli, the Christmas Craft Fair is sure to bring the local tight-knit community together in a wonderful celebration of all things art when it kicks off at the end of the month in a two day event.

As quintessentially Welsh as they come, Pwlheli has a small population of which the majority fluently speak the language. The town is seen as the hub of the Llyn Peninsula with market tradesmen flocking to it every Wednesday to sell their goods to the eager public. A town steeped in ancient history is only ever going to be a major attraction to all and should also be to you during your travels in North Wales.

So, what better way to spend a couple of days than getting to the bottom of what makes this sleepy town so special? There’s so much to see and do and no more so than at the Christmas Craft Fair on the 30th of November to 1st of December.

Variety is the keyword here and with more than 20 stalls to take your interest, you will doubtless be able to pick up an early little something for a loved one for Christmas. Perhaps you may even be able to pick up a little gift to yourself at this great event!

It’s not all stalls however as you and the kids can expect a very special guest in the afternoon. Santa will be dropping in to say hello to the children (and maybe an eager parent) in his grotto in what will be a magical occasion for all youngsters.

Once all the fun and excitement is out of the way, relax with a cup of tea in the renowned and award-winning tea room at the Oriel before setting off again for a wonderful night by the fireplace.
